Rockin' Volunteers!!!
We need you!!! Coyote Hills Day Camp is run solely by volunteers!
We need adults and experienced Program Aides (PAs, Older Girls ages 11-17 entering 7th grade or higher in Spetember 2009, that have completed Program Aide Training) to join our Day Camp Staff. We must have at least one adult volunteer for every six children attending camp.
Build new friendships! Have fun! Make a difference!
Why should Older Girls volunteer to work at camp? PA pin, PA patch, and Community Service Hours! Being a PA provides an opportunity to share your Girl Scout expertise and knowledge. If you complete PA training this Summer, you’ll be eligible to purchase the Older Girl PA pin. After providing 25 hours of leadership service you can complete the Older girl Program Aide patch. If you have already earned the pin and patch, you can use Day Camp experience for Leadership hours if you are earning the Silver or Gold Award, gain work experience or it can also count for Community Service hours, depending on which school you attend.
