Wondering what I'm talking about, & what is "Super Troop"?  Click on the link on this page that says "Super Troop Application", and it will take you right to the application.  You must complete the requirements with stars by them,  plus 15 more age level appropriate requirements.  Any questions about "hmm does this qualify"; please email me and I will be glad to help you.  I am also usually at the Leader's Meetings and would be glad to discuss it with you to help your troop get started.

The formation of the "Super Troop Award" was to help and encourage our troops to promote a well rounded program to their girls; and for Coyote Hills to be able to congratulate & honor those troops for their outstanding performance.  Really I bet you already come close to meeting all the requirements.

The applications will be due by our May Leader's Meeting.  They may be emailed to; LindaLMCS@aol.com.  I will send out an email confirmation that your application has been received.  Awards will be given out at the June Leader's Meeting.

I know we have wonderful well rounded troops out there...so go for it; fill out the application and become a "Super Troop" in June.  There will also be patches available at the June Leader's Meeting for purchase.  And YES you do get a cute little award ribbon to put on your troop flag or in a special place of honor. Limited edition handmade awards !

Now is a great time to sit down with your troop and look over the application so that the girls can help you decide what they want to do to earn this prestigious honor.  Time to plan your Girl Scouting year!  It's a great way to get your girls involved in the planning and see what things spark their interests.

Hoping to see lots of applications,

Linda
